Position Title: Head Golf Coach
School: St. Augustine Catholic High School
Position Type: Paid Seasonal Position (Independent Contractor)
Position Summary:
St. Augustine Catholic High School is seeking a Head Golf Coach to lead and develop our Boys and Girls Golf program. The Head Coach is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the program in alignment with the school’s mission, values, and athletic philosophy.
Responsibilities:
Plan and lead practices and match preparation
Coach and develop student-athletes in golf fundamentals, course management, rules, etiquette, and sportsmanship
Oversee Boys and Girls Golf seasons, including scheduling and communication
Coordinate practice times and course access as needed
Maintain team discipline and uphold school, league, and AIA policies
Communicate effectively with athletes, parents, and Athletic Administration
Ensure athlete safety and proper supervision at all practices and competitions
Assist with equipment management and match logistics as needed
Qualifications:
Golf coaching or playing experience preferred (high school, collegiate, or competitive level)
Strong knowledge of golf fundamentals, rules, and course etiquette
Ability to work positively with high school student-athletes
Strong communication and organizational skills
Must meet all school and diocesan requirements (background check, fingerprint clearance, and required trainings)
Compensation:
This is a paid, seasonal position. The coach will be contracted as an independent contractor.
