Mountain View High School in Mesa is a large 6A High School and we are looking for a Track and Field Coach to work with our Sprinters. The job would require you to work with all levels of sprinters from developing to elite and on both the boys and girls side of the team. Our sprint numbers can range to up to 50 student athletes. Candidate should have knowledge of starts and handoffs and an ability to communicate the expectations to the athletes.

GENERAL STATEMENT of RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Athletic Coach will be responsible for providing a positive working relationship with students, faculty, staff, and parents. Responsibilities will include coaching student athletic programs and ensuring adherence to AIA guidelines.

Medium risk - Work is routinely performed in outdoor environments, including exposure to noise and being on your feet for extended periods of time. Requires standing in inclement weather including summer heat.

This role includes planning and leading practices, managing game strategy, developing players, and building a positive, accountable team culture that supports student-athletes on and off the field as well as many more responsibilities.
