Must have knowledge of the existing system, state and region regulations; implementing same consistently, and interpreting them for staff and athletes. Must understand the proper administrative line of command and refer all requests or grievances through proper channels. Maintains discipline, manages grievances, and works to increase morale and cooperation. Develops, organizes, and supervises practices and competitions to ensure ethical participation, the safety of all who are present, as well as the adherence to all AIA and NFHS rules of the sport. Performs other duties which may be assigned by the athletic director/principal. Assists the athletic director in scheduling, providing transportation and requirements for tournament and special sports events. Assists in the necessary preparation to hold scheduled sport events or practice. Advises the athletic director of recommendations pertaining to changes in policy.
Stipend Range: $3,100 - $3,702 DOE
