Tyler Cerimeli
Director of Athletics & Officials
Tyler was born and raised in Arizona, graduating from Saguaro High School (2008) and Arizona State University (2012). Tyler earned a bachelor of biological science degree from ASU.
Tyler joins the AIA in July 2019 after over a decade of work in the AIA officiating community as an official (football, tennis) and as a chair of the football officials leadership committee. He has officiated three state final assignments at the 5A and 6A level. Tyler was named the 2016 National Football Foundation (Arizona Chapter) football official of the year and the 2015 NFHS Arizona football official of the year.
Tyler currently serves on the NFHS Football Rules Committee in addition to the NFHS Football Editorial Committee.

Register and update Officials

Oversee football, soccer, and volleyball assignments

Update game changes and official changes on a daily basis

Input and coordinate the assigning of invitational tournaments for some sports

Assist the Assistant Commissioner

Girls, boys and beach volleyball tournaments

Soccer tournaments
