Job Goal:
To carry out the aims and objectives of the sport program as outlined by the head coach and school administration.  To instruct athletes in individual and team fundamentals, strategy and physical training necessary to realize a degree of individual and team success.

Stipend Range: $2,070.00 - $2,472.00, DOE

Qualifications: Must have experience coaching and/or participating in the assigned sport; must have knowledge and background in assigned sport; must have participated in professional development activities in pedagogy and methodology of assigned sport; must have a valid Level One IVP fingerprint clearance card issued by Arizona DPS; must be CPR certified prior to second full season; must be able and willing to drive District vehicle to transport student athletes to athletic events and serve as the team's supervising adult; must have a valid Arizona driver's license with a clean driving record.

Target Start Date: February 1, 2026

Qualifications

• Previous high school or club volleyball coaching experience (head coaching preferred).

• Strong knowledge of AIA rules and regulations.

• Must hold or be able to obtain a valid AZ IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.

• Must hold or be able to complete all required AIA coaching certifications (NFHS Fundamentals of Coaching, Concussion in Sports, Heat Illness Prevention, etc.).

• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

• A strong commitment to the academic and athletic success of student-athletes.
