Girls Wrestling Coach – The Academies at South Mountain (Phoenix, AZ)

The Academies at South Mountain is seeking a Girls Wrestling Coach for the 2026–2027 season (Start: November 2026). This part-time role involves leading practices, coaching competitions, mentoring student-athletes, and supporting a positive, inclusive team culture, while ensuring compliance with AIA and district guidelines.

Candidates should have wrestling experience (coaching or competitive), strong leadership skills, and the ability to motivate high school athletes; CPR/First Aid certification required (or willingness to obtain). Experience with female athletes preferred.

PXU Queens of the Court Winter Classic

RE:2026 PXU Queens of the Court Winter Classic Girls Basketball Tournament 

Tournament Site:Games will be played at South Mountain High School and Metro Tech High School. 

Dates: December 17th –19th  

Entry Fee: $500.00 Payable to Phoenix Union High School District Attention: Rayco Branch Athletic Director 5401 South 7th Street, Phoenix, AZ 85040 (Due October 31, 2026)-interest can be sent immediately even if payment is later.

Format: The PXU Queens of the Court Winter Classic is 24 team tournament (4 game guarantee) 

Hospitality: Food and beverages will be available to all coaches, administrators, and members of the media in our hospitality room. Concessions will also be available for purchase by players and fans. 

Tournament Shirt: Each participant and coach of the tournament will receive a tournament shirt. 

Awards : Team and individual trophies and medals.
