High School Head Baseball Coach

San Manuel Jr/ Sr High School

Position Overview

San Manuel Jr/Sr High School, is seeking a dedicated and mission-aligned Head Baseball Coach to lead and rebuild our high school baseball program. We are looking for a coach who embodies the disticts philosophy, someone committed to character development, classical virtues, and cultivating student-athletes who excel both on and off the field. This role requires a coach who is passionate about program development, invested in long-term growth, and eager to build a culture of excellence from middle school through high school.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, organize, and oversee all aspects of the high school baseball program, including practices, games, player development, and team culture.
• Rebuild and strengthen the program with a focus on fundamentals, discipline, sportsmanship, and virtue.
• Develop and implement daily practice plans, typically starting around 3:00 PM or later on school days.
• Utilize on-campus facilities: including batting cages and weight room.
• Foster strong relationships with student-athletes, families, faculty, and the athletic department.
• Mentor and support the middle school baseball program to create a unified 6th–12th grade developmental pipeline.
• Collaborate with the Athletic Director and assistant coaches on long-term program development and sustainability.
• Maintain compliance with all district policies, league rules, safety guidelines, and school expectations.
• Serve as a positive role model who upholds district and school values both on and off the field.

Qualifications

• Prior baseball coaching experience at the high school level or higher preferred.
• Strong understanding of fundamental skill development, game strategy, and program building.
• Alignment with the school vision & mission and commitment to character-focused coaching.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Ability to be consistently available on school days at or after 3:00 PM for practices and team needs.
• Willingness to invest in and collaborate with the middle school baseball program.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or ability to obtain before the season begins).
• Level I Fingerprint Clearance Card 
• NFHS learn courses and Sports specific courses
• Complete the District Driver Safety Course (Mini-Bus Training)
• Clean and professional background consistent school standards and policies.

Looking for a boys JV volleyball coach. Must be able to attend practices from 3:00-6:00 and all home and away matches. Must be able to drive the team in a van to away games. 

Barry Goldwater High School in Phoenix, AZ is hiring now for Assistant Football Coaches for both our JV and Varsity teams for the 2026 - 2027 school year. Possible positions include Offensive Line, Defensive Backs and Defensive Coordinator.

Qualifications: Must have experience coaching and/or participating in the assigned sport; must have knowledge and background in assigned sport; must have participated in professional development activities in pedagogy and methodology of assigned sport; must have a valid Level One IVP fingerprint clearance card issued by Arizona DPS; must be CPR certified prior to second full season; must be able and willing to drive District vehicle to transport student athletes to athletic events and serve as the team's supervising adult; must have a valid Arizona driver's license with a clean driving record.

Target Start Date: February 9, 2026

Summary: Promote sportsmanship and foster good character in our student athletes. Provide for the safety and welfare of all participants. Supervise students in practice areas, locker rooms, busses, and at all times during the season. Stress the importance of academics. Push the concept of pursuing victory with honor. Teach skills necessary for competition from the basics to advanced level depending on the athlete. Exercise patience, tolerance and diplomacy in relations with all players, parents, co-workers, officials, and spectators. Interscholastic activities are an extension of the classroom and as such, your actions, behavior, and interactions with our student athletes should be reflective of this. High school coaching experience preferred.

Mesa High is excited for their 1st Annual Battle at The Burrow. The field will include up to 12 teams and will be divided into 2 pools. Pool play games will be played at Mesa High School on Thursday, March 12th, Friday, March 13th, & Saturday March 14th. The Single elimination tournament will be played at Mesa High School on Saturday, March 14th. We have great facilities with lights which held the 6A Softball Quarterfinals last year. Each team is guaranteed 4 games.
