Coach and develop student-athletes in proper technique, skill progression, safety, and sportsmanship
Assist with meet-day preparation, event management, and athlete supervision
Collaborate with the Head Track & Field Coach on scheduling, athlete development, and program needs
Maintain team discipline and uphold school, league, and AIA policies
Communicate effectively with athletes, parents, and Athletic Administration as needed
Ensure athlete safety and proper supervision at all practices and competitions
Assist with equipment setup, maintenance, and facility use related to field events
Qualifications:
Track & Field coaching experience preferred (high school or competitive level), particularly in field events
Strong knowledge of field event techniques, rules, and safety protocols
Ability to work positively and effectively with high school student-athletes
Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
Must meet all school and diocesan requirements (background check, fingerprint clearance, and required training)
Compensation:
This is a paid, seasonal position. Coach will be contracted as an independent contractor.
