Position Overview:
We are seeking an Assistant High School Wrestling Coach for the 2026-2027 Season (Nov - Feb) to support the growth of a competitive and character-driven wrestling program. The ideal candidate brings experience, leadership, and a passion for developing athletes both on and off the mat.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Head Coach with practice planning, instruction, and match strategy
  • Teach and refine advanced wrestling techniques and situational wrestling
  • Help build a strong, disciplined, and competitive team culture
  • Mentor student-athletes in character, accountability, and leadership
  • Assist with competitions, travel, and program organization

Qualifications:

  • Wrestling experience required (high school minimum; college preferred)
  • Previous coaching experience (any sport) preferred but not required
  • Ability to contribute to the vision and growth of a new program
  • Strong commitment to athlete development and well-being
  • First Aid Certification (required)
  • NFHS Level 1 Coaching Certification (required)
